I find the Vic a brilliant pub , great selection of real ales , bar staff helpful and friendly , food superb , all in all a lovely civilised pub !

The Vic is a great pub and is very very close toBeeston railway station.

The selection of ales are second to non as is the food menu. The food is fantastic and isn't like the most pubs that churn out the meals...okay so you have to pay a little more for food but it is certainly worth it, I am a fan of the Lincolnshire Sausages and Mash!

They have an outdoor area that is covered by marquees and there is heating in there too, it can get fairly busy on a Friday and Saturday evening so I would recommend getting there earlyish if you are wanting food. The food is served until approx 9pm daily.

The other great thing about The Vic is that there is a no mobile phone policy which means that you don't get people shouting at people where you can only hear one half of the conversation!!!!

The Vic is a great pub right alongside Beeston railway station near Nottingham. It always has a great selection of real ales and the food is lovely. A perfect pub for all us students to take our parents when they come and visit. It does have a no mobile phone policy (even in the beer garden, which is often covered by a heated marquee in the winter), but I've not yet seen anyone told off for subtly texting?!
