    Excellent atmosphere

    Tantra is a lovely place to begin the night out. It has a lively yet relaxed atmosphere where you can either get up and dance or enjoy one of the comfortable and sensual beds on offer! Entry is free and the guards at the door are polite however if you are not dressed well they may not let you in.
    Drinks are good and priced reasonably well with a good selection to choose from.
    Seating is plentiful and comfortable, a good place to chill and chat with mates. The music also helps to create an exciting environment to get you in the mood for later on!

    Best bar in notts

    This place is slightly out of center of town so if your walking may find it difficult. However you will know when you arrive as the outside is decorated lovely and reflects the quality of this bar. The door staff are well mannered. Upon entering there is ample amount of seating and around 15 beds around the edge of the room. These are decorated seductively and a great place to chill and talk with a hint of privacy. The atmosphere is this place is always buzzing and friendly and a great way to start or spend your night. Tantra also has live music which makes a change to most of the places around. The drinks are on the pricier side but you wont regret a night out here.

    Tantra...a good night had by all!

    The great thing about Tantra is the vibe of the place. It is always packed full of people but still manages to have a really chilled out atmosphere. There is often live music and Tantra also runs themed nights and student nights. The cocktails are absolutely gorgeous, especially the Chockwork Orange which is by far the best cocktail around, although they are really expensive (from £7), so I would recommend going on a tuesday which is a student night and all cocktails are half price. The one downside to Tantra is its own popularity, it can be a bit of a nightmare trying to find a seat if you don't get in early enough, and there is ALWAYS a queue for the Ladies room. It also can be a bit grubby - my shoes always stick to the floor! Having said that, some of my best nights out in Nottingham began at Tantra.

    What a great place to go! Perfect for a night out with the girls or your boyfriend / girlfriend.
    With an extensive drinks list and a cocktail list as long as your arm there really is something for everyone!
    Theres live music most nights of the week and dj's. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere in the venue is really good!
    What stands this place apart from other venues in the city is the unique surroundings and the cool little beds which you can book for the evening to sit on whilst you sip on fantastic cosmo's Sex and the City styly!
    This place also has great events such as Slow dating nights!
    Its free entry and open till 3am most days!!
    Love this place!
