Reviews for Old Orleans
This is where my now husband and I went on our first date oddly enough and it was quite nice. The service was good and reliable, quite quick as well. We had a sharing platter which was nice and then burgers which were nice. It's a big spacious place and we sat upstairs on the balcony which was good as it's a bit more private and you can have a bit of peace from the drinkers whilst you eat. Cocktails are great, I recomend the Long Island Ice tea, which is mostly alcohol, but here they make it properly and it was great.
Good location for bars and ightclubs afterwards. Not really a family type venue, but excellent for students especially when they are running special offers.
Fantastical decor! It's a really great escape with winding staircases that lead to the restaurant levels.
You get a tasty bowl of salty popcorn to get those taste buds shaking.
The balcony area is one of the great key features which make this venue stand out. If you're lucky enough to get some good weather head for here.
The run different meal deals in conjunction with the cinema next door which is worth while if you are making a night out of it.
nice with nice veiw, friendly service, nice food, something for everyone
nice atmosphere, friendly staff, something for everyone
This is a great all rounder =]
Downstairs there is a bar, with lots of seating so you can relax with friends. This becomes very busy on several nights and is a favourite place to go for a drink before heading on to a club.
Upstairs there is a restaurant, with has a 'rustic' theme and a wide menu with something for everyone. The tables are covered with large sheets of paper and you are provided with crayons to amuse yourselves between courses, this is defiantly not just for the children!! lol. In fact I dont think I have seen any children in there on any occasion that I have been!
The staff are friendly and the food is great value for money. The food is said to give you a taste of America's Deep South.
There is even a balcony area where you can sit and eat if you want.
This is located on Norwich's Riverside and near to a cinema and bowling alley as well as some other bars, restaurants and clubs. So there is something for everyone nearby, making this an excellent choice for anyone.
