Situated just out of the busy city centre, and near a busy road, City Gate is worth walking the extra distance. There is a wide selection of food available and the drinks are pretty cheap when compared to other Norwich pubs. The pub itself is big in size and has an area filled with children's toys and games. They often have live bands, jamming sessions, karaoke and play football matches on the big screens that surround it. There are numerous fruit and games machines and a pool table. The staff are friendly and likely to remember you and start a conversation with you - which is always nice. There's an open area at then back and front.
