Reviews for Ten Bells
Ten Bells is located opposite the Norwich Arts Centre and on a road with very little pub or club activity. Out of the way it may be, but certainly worth a visit. The drinks are reasonable and the atmosphere is made cosy with a number of sofas and different seating areas. The music is often varied and not loud enough to cause you to miss words during conversations. For me the only real draw back is its constant appeal towards students and putting on poetry reading nights - although the logic is understandable given its location and visitors it does not make it any more appealing to me.
This pub is one of the nicest in this part of Norwich. It's fairly small, full of comfortable sofas and has a really nice atmosphere.
There's a lot of random decoration, including a red telephone box and the lighting is always nice; not dark, but moody. The music is generally very good too.
