I came across this cafe whilst going to the North Shields ferry landing to catch the ferry to South Shields. It is nothing special to lookmat from the street but I was certainly surprised and impressed by the choice on offer and the quality of meals produced in this cafe. I came across this cafe whilst going to the North Shields ferry landing to catch the ferry to South Shields. It is nothing special to lookmat from the street but I was certainly surprised and impressed by the choice on offer and the quality of meals produced in this cafe. I have been a few times and have tried breakfasts and lunches and have never been disappointed. The lunchtime specials are my favourite with a hor roast dinner and several other main course specials. This is one of the few cafes I have been to where all the vegetables were fresh and not frozen! The staff were very friendly and made me very welcome.
The prices were very reasonable and the portions were huge as I said in my title its a gem of a cafe!
