The location of Crusoes is fantastic. It is situated right on the beach at Tynemouth with sweeping views along the beach and out to the North Sea. The exterior and interior resemble a large wooden beach shack, but a lot nicer, with sand as an added extra! It's a great place for a coffee and scone in the morning or a bowl of hearty soup at lunchtime. It is counter service and I have seen queues right along the side of the building. The staff are very friendly and deal with customers efficiently. It's a very popular place for parents/grandparents and young children as it is baby-friendly with lots of highchairs.
