Roy's Bakery is situated on the very popular Front Street in Tynemouth. It has several tables outside and there is more seating inside. The bakery has counter service but if you are eating in the cafe it's table service. The staff are really friendly and efficient. There is a good selection on the menu and a nice variety of sandwich fillings - my favourite is the Jarlsberg cheese - yummy! After having something savoury you can view the delicious cakes at the bakery and make your choice. The cafe can get very busy at lunchtimes and you may find that you have to wait for a table.
