I'll keep this short and sweet... if you are looking for a tradition Sunday lunch of real quality this is well worth a visit. I have been a few times now and each time it's been fantastic. It's all home cooking and there's a great choice. Choose from Roast beef, pork, chicken, turkey or a vegetarian bake. All come with all the trimmings and a side dish of vegetables as well as an extra gravy boat. The portions are generous to say the least and you'll be hard pushed to make it to the sweet selection all of which are home made and so tasty ( I did make it, at least to share an Apple Betty with Custard). None of it's fancy, just great traditional british cooking and lots of it, all served by friendly and helpful staff in a real lively pub. Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon and a beer or glass of wine. Perfect if you aren't worrying about you waistline. Well worth the £7 for the main meal. Highly recommended, give it a try.
