  Poor excuse for a restaurant

  I had heard several good reports about the Nando's chain and was very disappointed by my only visit to the Newcastle one - I won't be back to any of them. The service was slow and abrupt, the chicken was overpriced in my view and I didn't see any mention of free-range or organic to try and justify this. The chicken was raw for both of us when it arrived, when I eventually caught a waiter's eye to call him over and explain his answer was "So....do you want us to take it back?". No apology, no goodwill offer just a fairly pointless question! When the bill arrived I had to argue to get something back for the raw chicken debacle, eventually I think we managed to get 2 free drinks. Needless to say I didn't leave a tip...

  Chickentastic!

  We visited the Eldon Square outlet on a red hot afternoon and were delighted to easily locate an outside table. The exceptionally attentive staff handled my entire order at the table so that I didn't have to tackle trying to get indoors with my two children and double buggy. The food was freshly prepared and excellent value for money. The staff did not put any pressure on us to vacate the table after a certain amount of time and even provided crayons and colouring books for ther children.

  I love Chicken!

  Nandos is a great place in my opinion. It offers me what I love most (and that's chicken) as well as the food often being mildly spicy. I'm not a fan of very spicy food, it just takes all taste and flavour away from what every you're eating and in my opinion, this makes it a waste of money. I don't think Nandos do much which i would describe as "too spicy" luckily and so that's why I'm so fond of their food. Their prices aren't too bad and the staff are more than helpful. I've only been a handful of times but I intend to go a lot more often.

  Nando’s is a chain of Portuguese Chicken restaurants, situated around the country. Seating is available at both tables and in booths. The food is always tasty, with all chicken, from burgers to wings, being available in a number of sauces ranging from mild lemon and herb to extra spicy, in order to cater to all tastes. Salads and some other meals are available for those who aren’t keen on chicken. A special menu is available for children (Nandinos), and bottomless soft drinks help to make a meal at Nando’s very affordable. The desert and coffee menu is also very tasty and creates a great ending to a very enjoyable meal.

  Delicious chicken, reasonably priced and with bottomless soft drinks. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
