digital is distinctive with its red on black logo. it is quite a large club with a world- class sound system. popular with student and locals alike, this club has a friendlier vibe than its brighton equivalent. monday nights are 'born in the eighties' featuring 80p drinks offers and 80p entry for those (you guessed it) born in the 1980s. get there before midnight though or the price is cranked up to £5 entry (£4 for students with NUS). drinks generally are on the pricy side but the sound system is awesome and the dancefloor not to be missed. an awesome night out all in all.

Located literally minutes from the train station, smack bang in the middle of the Centre for Life in Newcastle, this place will almost always attract a crowd no matter what night of the week.

It's immense popularity is cemented by catering for various club nights and it's heddy decor and drinks selection.

Thursday nights are the resident home of indie mainstay Stonelove, it's grown over the last decade or so into the modern behemoth of the Newcastle indie scene - with boneshaking soundsystem to match. There's also a smaller room downstairs as well as the main club, and a venue upstairs 'The Other Rooms' sometimes open for club nights depending on whats on.

Digital is a world famous club located in Newcastle upon Tyne. It is next door to the other rooms and very close to various other bars and clubs. Digital sports a large variety of different club nights throughout the week, ranging from electro to dubstep to indie. Although the prices can be expensive it is usually definitely worth it, boasting some of the best DJs and speakers in the UK.

Drink prices can again be expensive, you must be careful what you order. Although there is now a student night on Mondays which is tremendously cheap and fun (80p in and 80p for all bottles). A great club to visit.
