Clayton Street Chippy on the corner of Pink Lane is a decent chippy, perfect for dropping into after a night on the tiles. The outlet is always busy, especially after The Carling Academy kicks out at 3am. The chips at CSC are always nice, especially when teamed with a pizza slice (a bargainous 60p!!!) and garlic sauce. The pizzas here are lovely, as is the fish - but I wasn't too keen on the chicken burgers. I'm also assured that the chip butties with gravy are a delight too. CSC also sells...

The outlet is always busy, especially after The Carling Academy kicks out at 3am. The chips at CSC are always nice, especially when teamed with a pizza slice (a bargainous 60p!!!) and garlic sauce. The pizzas here are lovely, as is the fish - but I wasn't too keen on the chicken burgers. I'm also assured that the chip butties with gravy are a delight too. CSC also sells Irn Bru, which just gives itself extra brownie points in my book. Definitely worth a visit after a night out.
