Reviews for Twin Farms
Twin farms is my friends local pub and is a lovely place. It's vey traditional inside with stone walls and floors and wooden furniture. They do a lovely sunday dinner with the best turnip I have ever tasted (and cannot for the life of me recreate!) and fabulous yorkshire puddings! The food is lovely and the menu is quite varied and is reasonably priced at around £7 or £8 for a main course. Drinks are reasonable and they sell a variety of beers. It's a cosy place, perfect for a cosy date, or catch up with friends and would highly recommend for a Sunday dinner! The beer garden is lovely on a sunny afternoon!
This is where we go for a meal when we want to be confident of the quality and range. It's a particularly safe bet to take the parents - there's always something for the most conservative tastes on the menu, but plenty to satisfy the more adventurous eater too. They do quite of lot of dishes with an oriental influence which I always enjoy. The service is consistently friendly, even in the mad frenzy of partying and celebration that is New Years Eve on Tyneside.
The actual building is very attractive. It looks like an old farmhouse but in fact is newly constructed on the site of an old farm.
