The Lloyds Quayside bar is one of my favourite places to visit in Newcastle. The bar is large, with a huge outdoor courtyard area containg tables, and another outdoor seating area along the river. There's ample seating in the bar itself, which is over 2 floors and also has a dance floor upstairs. Being part of the Wetherspoons & Lloyds chain, the prices for both food and drinks in this establishment are very reasonable, with the price of a spirit & mixer starting at £1.70. There are regular offers on, including Curry Clubs and the Monday Club, where many drinks are very cheaply priced. The building itself is very old and adds a fantastic atmosphere to the place.
