I've passed by Madisons many times but only been in it a few times. The first time i went in was only very recently and i wish i had gone in sooner. It is a place that i enjoyed very much. The drinks are well priced (which is always a good point) and there was even a happy hour on while i was there. There is a good, energetic atmosphere which gets me in the sociable mood. The staff were very friendly on the whole and very quick on drink orders. I don't think i've been in often enough to give a better review but from what i've seen, it should be an enjoyable experience for most. I was there last night so i thought this morning was the best time to write this review; do it while my memory is fresh.

Madisons is located in Newcastle upon Tyne and is in close proximity to Saint James Park. The bar is linked to the Hyena comedy club next door and entry to the comedy club allows entry into the bar after a gig. The bar is large and contains a dance floor, standing area and a large seated area at the back, sides and front with extremely comfortable seats

The drinks and varied and cheap especially during the many happy hours it has. It is a clean, modern and stylish bar which draws a large and varied crowd. Ideal for a relaxing drink and social meet up with friends. Highly recommended.
