When i used to go out drinking a lot more often in my college years in Newcastle Upon Tyne, the Bigg Market was the obvious choice of destination. It is the hub of all alcohol related activity in Newcastle and it's home to my favourite bar/club there; Kiss. Kiss has good music playing most nights and their prices aren't any worse than other places for drinks. It's a typical place with not much to make it stand out for any reason. Nevertheless, it is a popular place and most people you ask will tell you that they like this place. It's lively and certainly one for young revellers.
