Overall, if I want a burger, I tend to prefer the taste of a Burger King burger, BUT... if I want something fast food but want to be reasonably healthy about it, I do tend to choose McD's. Since the whole supersize me thing a few years back, they've really improved their act no end. The quality of the food is better, and they provide some MUCH healthier options. They now do a whole range of salads, and you can opt for a blueberry muffin which is lower fat than most muffins and MUCH tastier than most I've tried that claim to be lower in fat.

This particular McD's is right in the heart of CMK, so if you're shopping and need a break for lunch it's just right there for you unlike most of the foodie places which are over in the theatre district across the road.

This is one busy store though, so you can find yourself queuing and the staff aren't always quite as friendly as you might like them to be. Having said that if I was dealing with stroppy customers with screaming kids all day I probably would have to paste the smile on too.

Overall not a bad place to stop for a bit of lunch, though it's not gormet it's not bad either.

Mcdonalds is one of those places you go to for the occasional cheap meal or snack. I know a lot of ‘do-gooders’ complain about how bad the meals are for you especially after seeing that ‘Supersize Me’ film, but unless you are completely nuts, I wouldn’t expect anyone to eat nothing but Mcdonalds meals for a month and not expect to be ill afterwards

This place is in the middle of the main shopping arcade in Milton Keynes so ideally placed for having a break from shopping.

So for the occasional treat, in my opinion it is good and they do have quite a range to choose from. Big Mac meals at one end through to healthy salads at the other. Then you also get the choice of deserts – try the McFluffy ice creams to die for!! All at very cheap prices.
