The Italian Job is simply the best sandwhich shop in the Boro!!! If it was good enough for Maccarone then it must be good!!! I've been coming here for years for things like Italian meatball in tomato sauce, proper Italian tomato soup, provolone..., the list is endless. All served in freshly baked bread and actually very reasonable prices for what is authentic Italain cooking. The crab salad and cheese savoury are to die for!!!

The place is very clean as well which is nice to see and the birds behind the counter are tasty as well - LOL!!!

Champishere are you crazy? The Italian Job has never done pizza nor put the prices up. And if they lost a customer that is only you because the place is always packed. Then again they make the best baguettes in the North East!
