The Mansfield Odeon is quite a good cinema. It usually shows most of the recently released films, and the ticket prices are about on par with other cinemas in the area.
Like most cinemas, the food is overpriced. However, this is to be expected, and apart from the price there is nothing wrong with what is on offer, with a nice selection of drinks, sweets, popcorn and hot dogs available.
The cinema also sells DVDs and soundtrack CDs(!). There is a limited selection available on racks just outside the bar, which I've never actually seen open. There is also a small Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream parlour, which is excellent, if you manage to catch it when its open.

This cinema is ok but the carpark is not so great. I’ve had my car broken into here before and it is often cordoned off to put the boy racers off. Unfortunately, this means that it is often hard to get a parking space, especially at peak film times. The cinema is good though and they accept the orange two for one offer on Wednesdays and they have a good automated booking system which I have used very frequently. The food inside the cinema is good as there are a few choices, there is a bar – but it never seems to be open, a Ben and Jerrys and a refreshments bar which serves popcorn, drinks, nachos and more.
