Abduls, Oxford Road
Now I know many a student who raves about this place and the various other brances. I have only been there once myself so please take that into account when reading my review. We use this place as somewhere to get a quick kebab/chips before bed after a night out, and it is just the sort of thing you'd expect for that purpose. The food is reasonable and well priced but I have two issues. Firstly there are often 2 homeless people sat right outside. Dont get me wrong, they dont caus any hassle, but are usually passed out drunk and for me, I just cant enjoy food whilst I can see people having life so hard and not helping. Secondly, the one time I did buy food from this branch, although everything seemed clean enough out the front, we used the toilet and saw 2 cockroaches on the sink - thats enough to put anyone off their food no matter how nice of cheap!
Like I say Ive only been once so you'll have to decide.
