I used to live in swinton and love this chippy the curry sauce is second to none and the staff are really friendly, Iain I think the owner is called, what a lovely guy honestly he is so polite and welcoming, and very good at his job. I think he got the chippy of his dad so it's a family business. I don't live too far from swinton now and my fella still travels there just to get their chips! The only thing I wish they would do is fishcakes, but their fish more than makes up for it is so white and just falls to pieces in your mouth, in a tasty light batter.

This take-away with seating got a mention in a book I have on England's 100 best fish and chip shops and I'm a huge fan of the place and used to go every Friday I could when I worked in Swinton. Great tasting fish in very light batter, perfect mushy peas and good old fashioned chips low on grease. The only problem is that if you eat in you will end up with your clothes being a bit whiffy. Don't let this put you off though it's well worth making a special trip for.
