My first time at kebabish although i've been urged by some of my friends to give them a go. We went with the waiter recommendation of mixed grill and chicken and lamb karahis. I usually prefer my food pretty spicy and was not disappointed on that front. Food was very authentic and fresh. I will definately return. Highly Recommended.

We have now been here a total of 5 times after an initial recommendation from an asian friend who said kebabish has a huge following in the asian community. From our experience its easy to see why they are popular, on most of our visits the majority of the customers are asian which is always a good sign i feel.

What we did find interesting was that the menu was not the usual telephone directory style listing of every imaginable curry but a simplified number of most of the curries we're all familiar with together with some dishes which we had not come across before such as the lamb shank nihari and the haleem. We have tried most of the dishes on the menu in our visits and have to say the food is on par with the best indian restaurants in manchester if not better.

My personal favourite is the BBQ lamb ribs from the grill menu and the chicken peshwari karahi from the curries.The restaurant itself has a quite a sleek contemporary modern decor and there is BYO policy on alcohol so dont forget to bring your own booze.
