Reviews for Croma
This place pretty much does it all and for a reasonable price too. It's very similar to Pizza Express but doesn't have the chain restaurant stigma. I've been many times and taken lots of people over the years and never had any complaints. The food is always sound and the service is very friendly and quick.
As far as Italian restaurants go, Croma comes highly recommended. Described as “the best pizzeria in the city” by CityLife and voted one of the top 10 pizza restaurants Nationwide by the Guardian last year, Croma’s still manages to stay reasonably priced. Split over 3 floors, Croma is minimalist and modern with an efficient friendly service. If you’re daring enough why not try the Tandoori Chicken pizza or toppings of Peking Duck with hoi sin sauce? The less adventurous will be pleased to find that a Margharita is as cheap as £4.65.
The menu at Croma is fairly standard Italian, revolving around pizza and pasta. It's the same idea as Pizza Express and it does it well. The restaurant is nice inside, smart, welcoming and bustling. The food is reliable and tasty and good value. The staff are friendly and the service is good. Family friendly. It's not an original restaurant, but you don't always want to be surprised, do you? Croma has good food, good service, good atmosphere and good prices.
There's a branch in Chorlton too - the style is similar and there's a light and airy conservatory section at the back which is nice during the day.
This resturant is one of my favourites. i go back again and again and will for a long time. I love the food, i don't know of another place like it. It's perfect for that romantic night out with a partner but is also a great night for a group of people. the atmosphere is great to go with the great food. its somewhere you can rely on to be great.
Croma - Manchester, Chorlton, Leeds and Boston (yes, USA)! Local and quirky, but the best independent pizzeria in town for service, style and, most importantly of course, the food! Smart on the outside and in a fabulous central location (in sight of the Town Hall). Simple menu but with plenty of choice. Service is caring and warm. Less than £15 each. Children's menu. Loads of vegetarian options. www.croma.biz
