Great gay bar on canal street. I have eaten here a few times during the day and never been disappointed. Duck and plum sauce wrap was an absolute winner. Alcohol is reasonably priced for the street, moderately priced, you are up north afterall! I have been there with straight friends so they do seem to be straight friendly, not likely to see hen parties and the like in here though, if you're going to go leave any hang-ups at the door and go (to) Queer! It loses one star for the slight bleach...

It loses one star for the slight bleach smell it can sometimes have, but hey, at least its clean.
