    Comfortable place with a good 30 years of experience. The 70s decor (mainly traditional folk dancers) should have a preservation order slapped on it! The food (similar to Turkish and Greek) does surpass it, though. Best to try the banquets - meat or vegetarian, or the kebabs. Good value and good food, if in slightly unusual surroundings! Less than 15 each. Children's portions. Plenty of vegetarian options. www.armeniantaverna.co.uk

    Bizarre! Walk down the steps to this basement restaurant is like going back in time to the 1970's. Never tried Armenia food before but good freshly cooked veggie plate one lunchtime. Very friendly service.
