i didn't think too much of this place from the outside so when we got in there to a warm friendly welcome and a decent wine list i was very happy! the service was really good all night and the atmosphere was lively but not too loud. i had the halibut which was perfectly cooked and my boyfriend had the salmon. its one of the best places we have been for simple fish dished in a long time. The fish is all fresh and we couldn't fault the evening at all. its isnt cheap food but its not expensive for what it is. we highly recommeded this one.

I originally tried this place as I got 25% off with City Card Manchester, and thought i'd try it for mine and the misus' aniversary. I happened to mention this to the waitress when I went in to book, and she really made a special effort to ensure that we were well looked after for the occasion. The food was also great, and apparently there had just been a new head chef started who seemed to have nailed it first time with our dishes.

having had such a pleasant first experience, we returned with a group of friends quite recently and were equally impressed. Every dish we had (and we all tend to swap and share) was good - excellent, and I can thouroughly recommend this place to anyone!
