Reviews for Dutch Pancake House - CLOSED
What a shame, a lovely place and was the venue for many a pre-night out meal. it shut down in the summer of 2006 and has been empty since. It was full of great old decoration dating back from the 70's and was famous for its chipped plates! I really miss this place, and if anyone knows if they have moved to another location please let me know!
The food was good, cheap and fast, and there was never a large queue (maybe why it shut down truth be told) but I’ll always have fond memories of the Dutch pancake house!
I think that this place may well have closed down? Last time I was going to go it was all shut up and said sold! Sad too as they sold the best pancakes I have ever tried served on GIANT plates the pancakes were HUGE like what I you would serve to the BFG ha ha. But they were so tasty and the choice was so great you could have savory or sweet and there were tons of fillings to choose from, there were waffles and alsorts of alternatives. If anyone knows this place is still open I would love to know. Very fond memorys of this place as a kid and perhaps more so as an adult!
