Reviews for Buffet City
When a friend recommended that we go for a Chinese all you can eat one lunch I wasn’t very optimistic as I thought that the food can’t be that nice if they are offering it all at the fraction of the price it would normally be. However I was pleasantly surprised as it’s a great little Chinese restaurant. I can’t remember exactly the price of it but it was under £10. The restaurant is quite small but the staff are very helpful. There is not a wide selection of food with it being small but there is more than enough to eat and they even have a Mr Whippy ice cream machine which you help yourself too. If I had not eaten so much I definitely would have had two helpings of this so leave room. Will be going back there soon!
This is an all you can eat for a reasonable price which has a good selection of food to chose from. You have to go downstairs to get to the restaurant but when you get in there are a few tables and i’ve never had to wait for a table, although i have only been at lunchtimes. The staff were very friendly and the food was really nice, i think that this is the best all you can eat i have been to. Plus it also has a whippy ice cream dispenser so save room for pudding as its really nice and you can have as much of it as you want!
Buffet city in my opinon, is a great reliable, great value for chinese food at an adequate quality.
Situated in the heart of china town, manchester, I class it as one of my top 3 favourite choices to eat out for various reasons.
One, the price is immaculate. Priced at Seven pound fifty (all you can eat) during the daytime, it is a prefect winnning combination for students and good value hunters.
There is a wide selection of foods that range from traditional cusines to even healthy options that can delight anybodys tastebuds.
Overall, I believe this is a wonderful palce to eat out. espically for the standards, the great value which will for sure, leave you with a full stomach!
I have been here many times and still love it. However it can feel a little crowded and the staff can be a little rude. there could be more dishes, but i guess it is only a small restaurant. i don't like that you have to go through the buffet to get to the toilet either.
I really like this place. Its within easy reach of Picadilly gardens making it possible to parade around in your stilettos, and the staff are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. When I finished my first year at uni we found vouchers online for buy one buffet, get one half price - we arranged to get that discount spread evenly across 9 of us (obv an odd number) AND they gave us their buy 5 get 6th meal free card - we each paid something like 5.70 (excl drinks) - what a bargain. There was LOADS of selection in terms of the food that was available - all the usual things you would expect as well as some really quite original things. As a vegetarian, there was a lot more choice than usual for me and although the food was a little greasy you certainly get your fill as you can just keep going back and back and back. Brilliant.
Great value and the food is not compromised. I have been here a couple of times and for the price you pay you get decent food. A nice selection of dishes and if I remember rightly you can get a student discount on top of the buffet prices.
excellent choice eat as much as you like good value and always fresh food.
