This is a great place to go for nice ham, cheese, fresh bread or for breakfast, lunch or snacks.
The food is of great quality and really fresh - they have a daily selections of roasts/carveries which they serve in ciabatta or with salad. The puddings are to die for too, especially the baklava!
It’s a great place to go on a Saturday lunchtime when you need a break from shopping, and I totally disagree with the other review on here that says you can’t have a glass of tap water – that’s totally false and we always ask for them with our meal. Maybe that reviewer should try and be a bit politer to the staff?

KATSOURIS shop in the Bury Market is packed with just about every delicacy imaginable. My mouth was watering just looking, could not wait to get home and try all the small portions of never seen never eaten. Greek, Polish,Spanish,Italian Cheeses, German Hams,the list is endless. If this store was within walking distance I would very quickly become a very big fat pig.
Good fast service to, cant say the same for the Bury Black Pudding Stall, crap service.

I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW IN MY LIFE BEFORE.
After purchasing a meal and coffees at this establishment a requested a glass of water to enable my wife to take some pain killers. I was told "No", I would have to purchase a bottle of water. We are not young. We would have happily purchased the water but we were about to eat our meal.
MOST IMPORTANT. BEWARE!! IF YOU ENTER THIS PLACE YOU AND YOUR CLOTHES WILL SMELL VERY, VERY STRONGLY OF ROASTING MEAT FOR DAYS TO COME!

Large high ceiling deli in a wonderful old building, near King Street. Great range of hot and cold meats and breads. Also serves top sandwiches, salads and healthy drinks. Tasty cakes and sweets on offer to round off with. Very European style ingredients. Busy and friendly.
