Great range of beers! Everyone ought to call in at least once... original features are a sight to behold. Seems busy most nights - would be my choice of local if I were a city centre flat dweller! Everyone I know has reported that the food is amazing.. will make a point of eating there next time the opportunity arises!

This is a great little pub and surprisingly little-known considering the quality. It has a micro-brewery on site and they offer some really nice ales and bitters. The staff are friendly and the interior is lovely – the sloping floor gets some getting used to though, you feel permanently drunk if you’re sat on one of the tables near the bar!
The food is great, excellent pies and fish and chips etc, but slightly pricey, although you can’t fault the quality.
It’s quite a mixed crowd – from locals who’ve lived round there for years, to young professionals and people working in the area.
