Situated down a street off Oxford Road near Spar, this place is a handy gem - especially for the 'first drink' meeting place early doors.

Cocktails are cheap, patrons are mainly students, decor is modern and nice - basement normally has a DJ on late doors at weekends IIRC, upstairs has a big telly with PS2 Pro Evo on it - be courteous and let other people go on it if you do try it!

The staff are friendly and the bar downstairs is well handy - apparently the food isn't...

The staff are friendly and the bar downstairs is well handy - apparently the food isn't too bad, and you can hire out the downstairs for private functions v cheaply I hear.

Busy, lively and full of students in term time. Quite chilled at other times. Regular DJ Nights and fancy beers. Not the easiest to find. If its not to your liking there are plenty more bars, pubs and clubs near by to choose from.
