After visiting the Francesco's in Windsor and enjoyed the experience so much I thought I would give the restaurant in Maidenhead a try. Despite being really busy the level of customer service we received was almost perfection – waiter gave helpful suggestions and was able to assist my friend who had a young child with her. Would recommend the lunch time set menu as it is excellent value at £8.75 for a 2 course meal including a wide selection of fresh pastries and cakes. Unless it is really sunny outside I would recommend sitting indoors as it can very noisy and windy otherwise.

I think you get what you pay for at this place.. the food is reasonable, but not amazing. It's ridiculously cheap though!

I went at lunch time, the service started off quick but then tailed off, and it proved almost impossible to pay our bill. A quick lunch turned into an hour and a half.

We went here for a meal after our wedding and discovered a really good menu, excellent service, and a good atmosphere. It's been over a year since I've eaten here, but this site has reminded me that I need to go back! :)

Francesco's has to be one of my favourite local places to eat. The food is great, the service is always fast and effecient, and the atmosphere is really buzzing.

It's been a few years since I last saw dancing on the tables, but it's still a fun place.
