This is what Gastro Pubs Should be
This is one of the best value meals in the county.
Part of a small chain they are dedicated to good food using the best ingredients cooked to order.
The menu is wide and varied and each dish has a little tweak that lifts the meal at every mouthful.
I had the best spinach ever here,I believe made that much better from the use of roast beef fat,just great.
This is not a quiet cheap night out.
The place is fully booked every night so book in advance.
The atmosphere inside matches the impression you get from the website beams and stuff,but it will be noisy and busy.Good garden in the summer for a more relaxed approach.
After the meal a walk by the Thames river is a good way to pay off some of the calorie surplus.
Travel if you have to,this is great food and great value too
I will be back (more than once I suspect)
