A brilliant local quiet country pub located just down the road from the Foresters. Although not the cheapest pub in the area the atmosphere can not be beaten and perfect for a summer evening. Major sporting events are shown live and every Thursday there is a quiz night with a cash prize. Recently they announced weekly curry nights which should be good as well as a Darts and Golf tournament. Bar staff seem be constantly changing but always are friendly and efficient. A brilliant local quiet country pub located just down the road from the Foresters. Although not the cheapest pub in the area the atmosphere can not be beaten and perfect for a summer evening. Major sporting events are shown live and every Thursday there is a quiz night with a cash prize. Recently they announced weekly curry nights which should be good as well as a Darts and Golf tournament. Bar staff seem be constantly changing but always are friendly and efficient. The food available isn’t the best although its not the worst and at around £5 for typical pub grub you can’t grumble.
