Magnificent murals

People
I used to avoid this station or dislike it because you often get beggars demanding money which is unnerving if you are alone late at night. They are still there. Not so bad if you are in a group.
Murals
However, the delight now is the murals. Some have interesting captions. I saw murals on the Battle of Waterloo (commemorated in Waterloo station), and the Duke of Wellington who won the battle. His house, No 1, London, is nearby and can be visited.
There's a book called Underground Art by Oliver Green.
