This place has been here for YEARS and they have maintained their standards.
The chips are just as Dharminder described but I would not say the fish is the best I have had in London.

In the last couple of years a new Fish & Chips place called 'Catch' has opened on Chiswick High Road next to Turnham Green Church, I slightly prefer their fish as it is always boned properly and the taste somewhat more to my liking.

Chris's is cheaper though and they do have fab chips!

Absolutely agree with Dharminder. They fry everything in ground nut oil and the portions are great. Your looking at £5 on the nose for cod n chips but you'll be doing well to finish it... even though you'll really want to! Yum

The best fish and chips i've had in London come from this place. The chips have a delicate crispness and inside they're soft and fluffy (not a soggy chip in sight!) The fish is cooked to perfection and the portions are very good unlike some places. Try this placem and to top it off theres a nice ice cream place opposite (once again another review)
