Excellent sandwiches, soup and coffee

Pret definitely have the best, most reliable sandwiches of any of the coffee shops. Their soup is also excellent, so you can reliably get a lovely lunch suitable to any time of the year. I always like Pret food - in fact they are my overall favourite coffee shop, based on good (not outstanding, but good) coffee combined with excellent food. (I think Caffe Nero and Abokado do better coffee, but Pret has a far better range of food). And where on earth do Pret get their staff? As a connoisseur of coffee shops, I remain convinced that Pret staff are far nicer, and more friendly, than any other coffee shop.
