Being old fashioned Friday is fish night for us. I am really pleased that the Flying Fish is still going since it opened a couple of years ago. The fish is fresh and tasty and the portions are always big ( I have to share someone's chips, a portion for just me is too much).
The owners are lovely.
Once we saw in to the kitchen at the back and the potatoes were being peeled by hand!

This place, without a doubt, does the best fish and chips I have ever eaten in my life. According to my sister, the scampi is just divine too. The fish is fresh and made to order.

You have the option to take away (and very reasonably priced it is too), or to eat-in. The restaurant section doesn't tend to be very busy, which is a real shame, as the food is outrageously good. The best bit being you can bring your own bottle!

The staff are lovely and friendly and very chatty.

I took my Dad here for his birthday and he LOVED it. I will be a regular here until I die!
