Mucho Mas have added back the Mas
Absolutely fantastic - you have to try this place. My friend actually said it best when I brought her this week...."like a stampede of fresh flavours"... go for the steak or chicken burritos, my favorite... they have been playing around with the portion sizes but everything is back to normal (saw a comment below)... lots of great quality food for a decent price... there's also a good little coffee shop a few doors down called Tinderbox...

I was a regular- but not from today
I have been going to Muchos Mas atleast once a week for lunch since I read a good food review about them a few months ago. My favorite thing? A good sized meal for just over a fiver! Quick, no table waiting, no hassle with waitors etc. Just simple honest generous portions and quality tastes. For Islington, this is rare. Generally you feel slightly ripped off wherever you go on Upper Street. Muchos Mas was never one of these places.
However, their portions seemed to get smaller and smaller with every visit. This was of course forgivable when they were 2 meals in one, but today I felt hungry after an hour...
Their 3 meals (burrito, salad or taco portions) are simply no longer worth it.

More Mexican than the competition
There have been a number of burrito places that have recently opened up in London, and Mucho Más is one of the latest. Conveniently located near the Angel shopping centre on Upper Street, I'm sure this location will be crawling with punters in no time at all. They have competition down the street in almost exactly the same formula: assembly-line burrito production in front of the customer using fresh ingredients.
The burritos here have a rustic quality that reminds me of the cheap Mexican hole-in-the-wall joints that abound in my native Southern California. The hot sauce is really hot and most locals should stick with the medium or mild unless you like your curries vindaloo. The guacamole is good, but overpriced at £1 to add it to your burrito. The pricing for extras reminds me of Hamburger Union, in a bad way. The Mexican girls behind the counter know their way around a burrito and you'll find none of the "design flaws" that you get down the road at Tortilla. However, their customer service skills don't hold a light to those at the competition.
Mucho Más has plenty of space, but they seem to like to keep the upstairs area closed.

Muchos Gazias, Mucho Mas!
If you're serious about Mexican food...especially burritos, look no further. Mucho Mas Mania has hit London - and for me it couldn't have come any sooner. What could be better than chomping on a big, fat, juicy and fresh burrito while sipping down a few cold cervezas, watching the world go by in Angel?...not much...this is Mexican food heaven, with decent prices, a laid-back, friendly atmosphere and speedy service...now we just need them to open more!

I'm one of the owners of Mucho Mas, so I won't give a review, as it's bound to be biased :)

Mucho Mas Mexican Fast Food with Flair
Found a new Mexican place called Mucho Mas at 27 Upper Street in Islington, near Angel station. Gather it's only just opened a few weeks. Grabbed lunch there with a mate and we'll be going back for more of the same. I think they're open in the evenings as well. Small place with cheerful atmosphere, friendly lot. Certainly know how to fill a burrito. Guacamole to die for. Nice to eat some real Mexican food for a change and at a very affordable price. In terms of what you can eat for under six quid, and the quality of the food, Mucho Mas is well named.

Burrito Business.
Just opened today Mucho Mas has been set up in Angel to offer you a serious lunchtime treat. The founding partners met at Skype, where they work previously... and have created a place as friendly and charming as themselves. They serve their burritos and tacos in a fast assembly line in front of you, all within a clean bright and colourful space. Its healthy happy fast food that you sit at large shared tables to eat. I love the little baskets they serve the food in when your dining in..
On the burrito scale from a serious burrito fan, they got a solid 7 and were described as being of the more designer variant.. with the heap of wonderful fresh ingredients, and some of the best guacamole I've had in ages!
Go Mucho Mas, I will be!
Update.....
18-Sept: Had the vege tacos today, brilliant :) Mucho Mas is still really good, the only issue is that they seem to run out of ingredients towards the end of lunch as they are so busy!
