Shelleys used to be the best sandwich bar in Soho. Good quality food, fantastic range, not too pricey...all round good value. But then about 3-4 years ago it changed hands. On the face of it, it has the same range of food, same pricing and same long queue going out the door at lunchtime. But in my opinion, the food is greasier, not as well cooked. Service is poor and I'm not too keen on the hygiene (but that's probably because I like to see my sandwich prepared with gloved-hands).

Honestly, I just don't go there any more unless I'm really stuck for something and can't bear to face the queue for Make Mine. I wouldn't recommend Shelleys.

This place has it all, Jacket potatoes filled with chilli, cajun Chicken wraps (5.00 but well worth it!!), the best Sausage sandwiches for breakfast, Japenese Chicken curry for £5.50. great coffee. salads, and all the normal sandwich bar stuff aswell.

Great choice for takeaway, but proberbly best to phone order through, this place is rammed at lunch times.

Very hygenic minded Japenese owner, cool Brazilian staff, and good service..
