Tiffin Curry
I have lived in the Aldgate/Whitechapel area for a while now and this place is one of the only places I will eat at! I've tried a fair few crap curries slapped together by the local joints, but Tiffin is a gem. You have to walk a little way down Commercial Rd to find it, but worth it, much better than most up Brick Lane.
The owner is absolutely lovely, taking great pride in his food, and is chatty and friendly. They do great takeaways and also deliver -
My favourite is the lamb pasanda at about £7.00, some of their meals can be pretty spicey so when it says hot it means hot! Overall, mains are about £6-£8, entree's area also yummy. Quiet relaxed atmosphere and close to the Castle for a pint afterwards!
