Reviews for Patogh

Make what you will of it - a tiny place which gets packed full of Iranians/Persians with a smattering of others, enjoying simply cooked, fresh flavoursome meats like chicken and lamb, and bread, with fresh salad. The bread smells and looks divine and covers half the table! Generous portions with good value stamped all over it.

Go if you're hungry, don't mind too much about brusque service and simple decor. Go elsewhere if you want to be seen with prices to match.

If you ever thought that kebabs were food for after a night out, think again.

Patogh is undoubtedly the best and cheapest kebab shop in london. It oozes quality and quantity without sacrificing taste.

Located about 5 minutes from Edgware Road, Patogh is a tiny restaurant - if you can call it a restaurant. There are about 5 tables downstairs and a few upstairs so be prepared to be sitting cosily.

The meat is good quality, cooked freshly and comes with a side of salad or rice. Sounds dull no? But trust me, it's far from it. There special bread is also incredible, taking up nearly the whole table - absolutely beautiful.

Oh and before I forget, it's bring your own booze too ;)

This place is amazing the food is fabulous. We fancied a kebab iranian sytle we wer not disappointed .The portions are large. We ordered three kebabs each 6.oo.we had great difficulty finishing it so much so that we all ate the other half the next day.delicious fresh herbs are strewn over, only down side was the onions were massive and I do find it hard to eat fat wedges of onions. The flatbread that surrounded the succulent lamb was so fresh and seeds added to the dough added great delicate flavour.Great meal .The place is very busy easier to get a take away than to sit in. we enjoyed it so much we have had it twice this week.

Patogh is a small Iranian eatery just off the hustle and bustle of Edgware Road. It's not glitzy, spacious or particularly welcoming but that is a part of the joy of the experience. The food is simply sublime and vast! There are several different meat dishes to cater for your taste. The lamb skewers are wonderfully succulent! Recommended!
