Reviews for Made In Italy

Had dinner on sunday. Great food great pèople. Fantastic italian pizza. And yesterday we went in regina Margherita! Same story. Don't miss the chance. Made in italy really is italian food!

Best pizza I have ever tasted-most people dont know what real traditional pizza actually taste's like these days because of the disgusting stuff on the delivery and take-away market! This is the real thing!
You will not be disappointed.....and so what if it's a little more expensive-Id much rather quality food-than to save a few pounds to eat fat

I can't actually speak to the food here as i never got that far. Popping in on a friday night, we were left standing at the door even though several wait staff looked us up and down. We waited. They were busy so we approached the maitre d. I say hello...nothing. Just another look up and down. I waited, Buena Sera, I got. Ok fine don't speak to me in english. "do you have any tables" i said....looking at an empty one in front of me. "no". Right then....i'll be moving on now. It still amazes me that in these times in this city that restaurant staff can be so rude and so short sighted. I certainly won't ever be spending any money in that place!

Avoid this restaurant!!! The service was absolutely terrible. My friend and I were sat in a corner next to two very loud parties,so we were often forgotten; plus,I could barely hear my friend. After 15 minutes sat on our own,we finally had a chance to order. The starter was OK,but my main was very dry and without flavour. To top it off, we ordered desserts only to be further let down.I ordered the apple tart and the ice cream was absolutely disgusting. We complained to the waiter. When he returned, he explained that the chef spilled salt in my ice cream. How could he serve me my dessert after knowingly spilling salt into my ice cream? I found this absolutely disgraceful and absurd. Good luck!

Did you know that in "Made in Italy" a pizza cannot be served with a soft egg on the top!! Its NOT POSSIBLE. This is not a scarcastic comment but what happened last night when we ate here, this is what we were told. The staff was bullying towards the customers and refused to listen to any comments regarding head chef cooking.
If you buy your pizza by the meter be warned the pizza base will be half cooked and chewy and the spread of the ingredients will be all mixed up. Dessert took 35min to be delivered to the table (it was only 3 tiramisu.....).
In summary, this place is overpriced, the service is poor and the food is basic. A trip to Pizza Express will be much more satisfying and value for money.

Once you get into Made in Italy you can start enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of an Italian pizzeria.

The place itself is quite different, they tried to make it look "Italian" and while it is not really authentic it is different and at least not pretentious... You will also probably hear a lot of Italian in there, as they seem to hire Italian people only which is good for the "Italian atmosphere" they want to create....nothing worse than an "authentic Italian restaurant" where there is no Italian touch!

The pizza is good. They do "Pizza al Metro" instead of the traditional round Pizza. It is quite fun especially to share with friends. They also have good desserts. Booking recommended especially if you are a big party.
