I just ordered some food from The Spice, and everything was great. The Tandoori chicken was very well presented and tasty, and the Vindaloo chicken was also very tasty but very very hot. It was quite filling for 9 pounds (partly due to the pint of milk I had to drink to get rid of the burning), and overall I would recommend it without hesitation. Even the guy who delivered the food was very nice and polite!

This has got to be the best delivery Indian I've ever had. I started with the complimentary popadom, provided with onion salad and yoghurt dip. Popadoms are hard to get wrong, but very hard to get just right. Light, crispy, not at all greasy - good start.

Next was my main course, plain rice with a Chicken Tikka Morissa; a rather unusual take on the average Chicken Tikka dish. Fresh chillies were very obvious and the underlying flavours were strong and well defined. I would have thanked them for a little less grease though, but that's a pretty standard complaint for any Indian food.

Put that together with a very good roti - fresh, dry and tasty - and fast delivery, you've got the best Indian food in the area.

One downside is, as that lot came to just over a tenner and was just more than enough for one, it's not stunningly cheap but it's so worth it.

This Indian restaurant has incredible food, although I would expect it to have such quality given it’s very very high prices. We went as a party of eight, and ended up having a bill of about three hundred pounds! Perhaps it was all the alcohol we bought with the meal?! Anyway, we were all blown away with our main courses, but on the down side, the desserts were a little disappointing. Still, perhaps we were paying for the staff’s very fancy uniforms? They were very smart indeed. A comfortable seven out of ten to this nice, but expensive curry house. It is guaranteed to empty your wallet!
