Reviews for Yo! Sushi
To be honest i would recommend Yo! Sushi to anyone looking to try something new. They have a huge range and its all reasonably priced so it doesnt matter if you pick something your not too keen on. I went with my boyfriend and then loved it so much i took my mum the following week. Was fun picking all the dishes off the belt and trying to work out what they were in the menu book. Always i found that because i spent so long looking up what each dish was, waiting for it to come round etc, i ate a fraction of what i would normally eat so this made the meal even cheaper :) If your after a light, fun lunch then its the place to go!!
It might not have the best sushi in London, but I think Yo Sushi is still a great place to eat out. With its relaxed atmosphere, it's the perfect place to introduce people to the delights of sushi, because you can share with your friends, and try out new things. The last time I went, I discovered the fantastic pumpkin korroke, and my friend and I sat waiting for another plate to come round! However, the chefs are aso willing to make food to order, if you can't see what you want on the belt. The pricing system is easy to follow, and there are often offers and deals on their website, which makes it great value.
Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting. Overpriced kaiten sushi that isn't worth the great name that Yo! has built up for itself. It's a shame that this chain has such a good reputation here in the UK: the conveyor belt and the cute water taps are really the only things worth going for, and the sushi is vile - the sushi that they've started to sell in the big train stations here is way better, by a long shot.
Yo! Sushi is a chain of "sushi train" type restaurants. You sit at the bar and the various dishes go past you on a small conveyor belt. You can then just pick off what you want to eat. There are also some meals that are cooked to order.
The food is always fresh and delicious. The salmon sashimi melts in your mouth! They also do a great Miso Soup and teriyaki chicken. In fact, I have never had a bad meal here. And what is more fun than the self-serve still and sparkling water taps right at your seat!
Ok, it may not be the greatest sushi in London, but I like these colourful and friendly restaurants, and have been known to drop in for lunch when shopping in the West End. There is also now one at Gatwick which is handy for a pre-flight snack.
