Eritrean
I think I would have enjoyed this place a bit more if I hadn't had Eritrean food elsewhere. Asmara is better in many ways (I have a review for there aswell). Don't get me wrong, the meal was still pretty enjoyable but I just get critical when I know there's something better out there! lol I know, it's a flaw of mine.. We did end up waiting for an hour for our food but it was getting packed as it was a Saturday night.
We got the Adulis Kirchat for four where you get 8 different dishes on injera. There were actually only 3 of us ( I know, we're fat pies!) The dishes were generally really tasty, with a good mix of meat, fish and veg. The injera was a bit more lemony and thinner than I'm used to but I don't know what it's supposed to be like.
The traditional coffee and popcorn didn't come with the meal (which was disappointing) but we really wanted it so after ordering, we waiting about another 40 minutes! With the ridiculous waiting and more expensive food, I would just go back to Asmara really.
