    Good Food

The positive aspects of this restaurant are:
    - Food is delicious
    - The staff are polite and efficient
    - The restaurant is very central
    The negatives are:
    - I found the portions to be a little on the small side
    - For private conversations sharing a table with loads of other people can be a pain
    - You may have to queue on the street for some time at peak times before getting a table

Overall I'd recommend this restaurant if there is a group of you but if you want a something more intimate then this is not the restaurant for you.

The long queues outside a sign that the food inside is good! And indeed it doesnt dissapoint. Good value for a 2 course meal, mine came to under a tenner. Their pad thai jay is fantastic!

However, its a very rushed experience - they try and get you in and out within 30 mins (or it certainly felt that way)

Very good for a quick quality meal before the theatre!

    A social quickie

I like the communal dining at Busaba Eathai. It's quick and the food is fresh, somewhat authentic and pretty good value and a welcome change from the likes of tired and bland Wagamama's when friends want to eat "safe". The fact there are generally always queues around dinner (post work / pre dinner) is a good sign so try to get there early and get past the annoying queue on the pavement outside.

    Fond Memories

I'll always have a very fond memory of Busaba Eathai as it's actually in this restaurant that I met this girl dinning a few tables away from my table... was a good moment.

Anyway the food is fresh, tasty, and thoroughly enjoyable. I also like the dark wood paneling across the venue. This place is obviously very popular as there's always a queue of people wanting to enjoy their great food.

I like Busaba Eathai alot. It's centrally located, authentic, quick, tasty and fresh. It's extremely good value and once you get past the queue, very quick. Very much a place for a lively bite with it's communal eating, I wouldn't suggest you go for a romantic dinner, but I would suggest that you go with friends and prepare for the queue. It's worth it.

For decent, fresh Thai food in central London, and for sheer value for money, Busaba is in a league of its own. Infamous for the queues that stretch down Wardour street any time after about 5:30pm every day, it's nevertheless worth the wait and of course if you go at a non-standard time (3pm on a Saturday afternoon is my tip) you can get a table of your choice.

Though not exactly super-cheap (and anyway, where even is in London these days, apart from Tayyabs of course) it is excellent value, and service is usually smart and knowledgeable if not overly friendly. Highly recommended.

absolutely love busaba, good value for money, excellent food (I adore the pemelo prawns and squid starters). If you go outside of peak times you can avoid the queing and sharing tables with strangers. We went last night just after 6pm and got a table by the window, which was great for people watching. The service has improved a lot since I started going there a few years ago, the waiting staff seemed a lot more relaxed. Definately one of my favourites for good cheap food.

    Average and over-hyped.

Not all that great...small portions, noisy, feels like a factory (you're continually hassled).

    Pathetically tiny portion of rice!

A better Phad Thai is at Tuk Tuk on Wardour Street... for £3.90!

I think Busaba is a very nice restaurant although I find annoying the fact that you always have to queue for at least 20 minutes.

The food is normally great although it may vary from one dish to another.

The atmosphere is great and if you go late you can have a nice meal without feeling the pressure that you have to leave your space for someone else.
