Totally generic
If you like generic, safe Italian food in an average setting, Strada is the place for you. It's not that it's bad, it just isn't good.
Olives were sour, wine was cheap, the tables packed in so tight that it is impossible to enjoy any sense of intimacy.
London is full of chains like this: soul-less, charmless venues that just wouldn't work in a place with less tourists and a lower population density.
If you want something nicer but at the same time, safe, at a similar price point you'd be much better off in a Pizza Express: the food there lifts it slightly.
