Finally I found an inexpensive French place in London where the food and the atmosphere is just like back home!

The "patron" is a character and the menu could be the one you find in a little corner restaurant. No wonder it is always full of French people!

The Toulouse Sausage is great and the duck Magret is delicious.

Come early as the place is quite small despite the few table at the lower ground floor.

A firm favourite of ours for a relaxed meal. The outside tables are hard to bag, and the tables are squashed together but that's part of the charm. Perfect for moules frites, steak frites, the usual French tastes. Wine is good. A small bar sits about six and I've happily sat there reading a book. There is a downstairs but that's not such fun. Gets really busy so get there early if you haven't booked.

I am not writing about the food because I haven't tried it. I went there for wine and I really liked the atmosphere. Quite busy place with a French touch. I liked the staff ,they were nice and welcoming. If you don't eat you will have to sit on the bar which is great!
