Reluctantly Disappointing
Special friends took us here as a treat after the theatre. Very impressive entrance, lively cocktail bar, candles on every step up a sweeping staircase giving lovely ambiance. The service was attentive and efficient, but the food was at best average, well presented, but my friends gaots cheese tart was soggy and tasteless, the steak small but nice, in fact all the dishes bordered on the small and unsafisfying side. the deserts were okay, the cheesecake lovely but the others were average.
For the price, if your looking for pretentious, chique and to be seen, then this is the place for you, if you want really good food then I would look elsewhere.
